As parents, we were looking for a teacher who could balance technical discipline with a love for music, and Ms. Kathleen is that person. Her teaching style is very professional but also very patient. She pays great attention to the foundation—proper hand position and music theory—which we believe is very important for long-term success. We also appreciate her professional skills. She is always on time, keeps the schedule, is very organized and communicates with parents. Her recitals are excellent; she makes sure the kids are very prepared and that they play well.
